About

The Moeurs Foundation was conceived in 2015 as a cultural and cooperative foundation with an aim to promote the exchanging of ideas, the spirit of learning and a constant search for inspiration through sustainable initiatives and local development. Moeurs’ activities are framed within the priorities established by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established in 2015, with the horizon set for 2030 and developed by the United Nations.

With this in mind, Moeurs’ objective is to strengthen a global, national and local alliances for sustainable development, mobilizing and exchanging knowledge, technical capacity, disrupting technologies and financial resources to promote synergies in the public-private and civil society spheres, and to contribute jointly to sustainable development aligned to the 2030 Agenda.

The Moeurs Foundation thus shows its commitment to supporting and promoting local development through exchange, recognizing that the best understanding of the world is achieved by sharing knowledge, fostering debate, and taking advantage of the experience of local communities, designers, creators and thinkers.

The Moeurs Foundation focuses on promoting the expansion and improvement of education through the training of teachers, artists, business persons and scientists, as well as the proper use of pedagogical resources, the use of new technologies, and an improvement in evaluation, educational management and social awareness.

Considering the role of the private and academic sector in relation to the achievement of this objective, the Moeurs Foundation will carry out public-private alliances, as well as with NGOs, universities and other foundations that contribute, both locally, nationally or globally, to achieve the SDGs.

Our mission is to develop creative activities and research related to, amongst others, the arts, culture, languages, new technologies and the conservation of the environment. Whilst we are community-minded, we maintain strong links outside to ensure a continuous artistic, scientific and professional exchange between Spain and abroad.
